Deleting Wearers

 

Wearers can be deleted by System Admin Users from the Wearer Search Utility. The delete process may be interrupted and an interrupted by Historion if there are child or subordinate data records present that belong to the selected Wearer.

Deleting a Wearer involves the following 4 steps;

 

1.Find the Wearer in the Wearer Search Utility.

 

2.Select the Wearer’s record row by clicking any cell other than the View link as shown above.

 

3.When the required Wearer row is highlighted click the Delete button.

 

4.Select [Yes] when prompted for confirmation;

 

 

 

A second delete confirmation prompt is required to remove the Wearer. When the Wearer has been successfully deleted from the Historion database the Wearer Search Utility results pane will refresh and the Wearer will be removed from the list.

 

The circumstances that lead to Historion interrupting the Wearer delete from completing are described in table n below, with the process required to complete removal of the Wearer record. In some cases, a prompt will be displayed as a warning that additional data for the Wearer is present and will be removed and in some cases the delete is denied until the additional data is removed by the User.

Close the instance of the Wearer Details page that is displaying the record for the Wearer to be deleted.

 

A Wearer cannot be deleted when the record for the Wearer is currently open.

Find any Custom Notification Settings that contain the Wearer and either remove the Wearer from the setting or delete the setting.

 

A Wearer cannot be deleted whilst selected

as a parameter of a Custom Notification Setting.

Find any Dose Alerts for the Wearer in the Dose Alerts list. IF it is appropriate Clear the Dose Alerts detected and then delete them.

 

A Wearer cannot be deleted while there are at least one detected Dose Alerts present for the Wearer.

Find any saved Dose Alert Settings with the Wearer selected as a parameter and either deselect the Wearer from the setting or remove the settings. In either can Dose Alerts cannot have been detected for the setting in order for it to be changed.

This is by design and self-explanatory. If a Wearer has any Dose Readings the Wearer cannot be removed.

 

Readings cannot be deleted individually from a Dose Report so the whole Dose Report would need to be deleted, then Wearers.

As per Wearers with Dose Readings, any Gap Records must be

removed first.

 

Deleting individual Wearer Gap Records requires the record to be Resolved first using the Override button.

 

Futures; Gaps will be cascading deleted if no

File Note(s) attached.

Find any Operator records for the Wearer in the Wearer Details page on the Operating tab and remove them.

 

Wearers cannot be deleted while they have Equipment Operator records present.

In the Protective Device registers find any Protective gear the Wearer is custodian of and remove the Wearer from the Wearer Name drop down in the Custodianship tab.

This is an additional confirmation prompt only. Historion is noting that at least some details of a Licence have been recorded suggesting the Wearer record may have some importance and an extra check is warranted before deleting the Wearer.

Find any Training records for the Wearer in the Wearer Details page on the Training tab and remove them.

 

Wearers cannot be deleted while they have Training records present.

This is an additional confirmation prompt only. Historion is noting that one or more File Notes have been recorded suggesting the Wearer record may have some importance and an extra check is warranted before deleting the Wearer.

 

Futures; pregnancy record present will be cause a full stop, cannot delete Wearer. Gaps to become

cascading deletes instead of prompting unless File Notes(s) are present.
