Deleting Dose Reports

Dose Reports can be deleted individually or as a group (using multi-select) from the Historion Dose Report list using the Delete button at the lower left corner of the tab. A prompt requests delete confirmation. After deleting a Dose Report the Dose Readings Cache is reloaded and Reading Duplication rescanned to check if the delete event has resolved previously indicated Dose Duplicates.

Sometimes deleting a Dose Report or multiple Dose Reports will be denied. In scenarios where delete is denied a prompt will display the reason. The Historion team has focused on ensuring these prompts are descriptive and helpful in stating why the Dose Report or Dose Reports cannot be deleted, so the User can then make any adjustments needed that allow the delete to occur.

Deleting Dose Reports General Principles

1.A Dose Report cannot be deleted if a single Subordinate Data Rule is breached, see below.

2.A Dose Report cannot be deleted if one or more Open Tab Rules is breeched, see below.

3.Deleting a Dose Report results in a cascading delete of all Dose Readings contained within it.

4.Deleting a Dose Report deletes the binary copy of the original Dose Report saved in Historion.

5.Deleting a Dose Report does not delete any Centres added as a requirement of importing it.

6.Deleting a Dose Report does not delete any Wearers added as a result of importing it.

Subordinate Data Rules

Certain subordinate data must be deleted to allow the Dose Report to be deleted. This is a relational data protection check and is standard practice. Historion will not allow a Dose Report to be deleted if;

1.One or more File Notes is associated with any of the Dose Readings within the Dose Report. Sorting by the [Dose Report File Notes] column (click the column heading twice) will show which Dose Reports have File Notes recorded against constituent Dose Readings, if any.

2.One or more Dose Readings belonging to the Dose Report has already been processed for inclusion in a Submission File for the National Dose Register. Sorting by the [ANRDR Doses] column (click the column heading twice) will show which Dose Reports have Dose Readings that have been submitted to the National Dose Register.

3.One or more Dose Readings has been previously detected as an individual Reading of interest as reported in scan results of or more Dose Alert settings. Sorting by the [Dose Alerts Individual Reading] column (click the column heading twice) will show which Dose Reports have Dose Readings of interest relative to Alert Thresholds

4.One or more Dose Readings has been previously detected as a member of an aggregated set of Dose Readings of interest as reported in scan results of one or more Dose Alert settings.

Open Tab Rules

Historion will not allow a Dose Report to be deleted if;

1.The Dose Report is currently open in the Dose Report details tab

2.The Dose Alerts tab (which interacts with the Dose Reports listing) is currently open.

  New Tab and Data Rules are progressively added. Further scenarios may already apply.
